黃延桐，1942年出生于廣東梅縣，1965年畢業於廣東美術學院。現為廣東省美術家協會理事、惠州市美術家協會主席、客家畫院院長。畫家長期從事油畫創作，作品多取材于自然景觀。他一方面記錄大自然的美，另一方面他將生活心得及自身心靈的寫照，透過畫布和彩筆呈現，讚美生命。如果一位元畫家的作品僅停留在對景物客觀的逼真描繪，那只能讚歎他的色彩造型功夫，而無法令人感動。黃延桐一直是一位用心靈作畫的創作者，以情寫景、以景抒情，運用動和靜、冷和暖、點和麵的巧妙對比，使畫面充滿生氣，意韻無窮，流淌著對生命的愛，對生活美的追求。除了以客家風情的作品外，更有江西水鄉系列及幾個國家風情系列。黃延桐運用穩健灑脫的筆觸及自然豐富的筆調，賦予作品生命及靈魂。透過黃延桐心靈的沉澱，呈現出靜謐安詳的世界，使觀者優遊於亙古的幽情裡，馳遊忘返。

Mr. Huang Yantong, born in 1942 in Meixian County, Guangdong Province, graduated from Guangdong Academy of Fine Arts in 1965. Now he serves as member of the Guangdong Artists Association, chairman of Huizhou Artists Association, and president of Hakka Painting Academy.The artist has long been engaged in oil paintings, and most of his works are natural landscapes. On the one hand, he paints the beauty of nature; on the other hand, his paintings express what he learns from life, and his feelings and praise of life. Without true feelings, no matter how exquisite the painting is and how skillful the artist is, his works will not be touching.
